Bring us your Spare Apples!

An apple crusher and press will be available in Epsom Market for residents to bring along any spare apples, make juice, or just drink fresh juice without donating any apples!

The offer also applies to any spare pears and grapes. George, who is donating the apple press, will give back one fifth of the weight of donated apples in juice - so take bottles as well if you'd like some of your own juice to take home. Apples and any other fruit should be washed, as should bottles. Spare juice will be sold at 40p per cup and any proceeds after costs have been covered, will go to the Mayor's fund and Tools for Self Reliance.

The programme is:

• Thursday 9th September, Epsom High Street market, 10am - 4pm
• Thursday 16th September, ditto above.
• Thursday 23rd September, ditto above.
• Sunday 26th September, Horton Park car park, 12noon - 4pm
• Thursday 30th September, Epsom High Street market, 10am - 4pm
• Sunday 3rd October, Ewell Court Food Fair, 12noon - 4pm
• Thursday 7th October, Epsom High Street market, 10am - 4pm
