Community First Responders can help to save lives

Community First Responders (CFR's) are volunteers who respond to emergency calls on behalf of South East Coast Ambulance Service. Would you like to make a real difference?

Remember seeing the news about a gentleman who collapsed during the Remembrance Ceremony in Epsom town centre? His life was saved by an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) located permanently in the Ashley Centre. Community First Responders often arrive at life threatening emergencies, in possession of an AED, before the ambulance can get there, as they are just around the corner.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service is looking to recruit new volunteers across the south-east in order to set up or expand local schemes.

Have you got a few hours each week to spare for this extremely worthwhile venture? Contact 07717 720046 for details of vacancies in Surrey.
