Civic Service
A Civic Service attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Colin Taylor and Mrs Jose Taylor, will be held on Sunday 8th September 2013 at 10:00 am at Christ Church, Epsom Common, to give thanks for the Borough of Epsom and Ewell and to pray for all who hold public office in it, especially the new Mayor, as he begins his term of office.
Local councillors, the mayors and chairmen of other local authorities and other dignitaries have been invited to join the usual Sunday morning congregation for all-age worship, led by Rev Rosemary Donovan, the mayor's chaplain.
This service is open to all members of the public who wish to attend.
A collection will be taken for the Mayor's charities and the mission and ministry of Christ Church.
After the service, the Mayor and his wife will invite the congregation to join them for refreshments served in the Parish Hall.
