Council Invitation to Local Groups on DPD Consultation
Epsom & Ewell Borough Council has invited some 90 local organisations to consultation sessions on the current DPD Consultation which runs until 7th September. Sessions are available every Monday and Wednesday between 9am and 5pm until 7th September.
If you are not part of a local organisation, the planners are still keen to discuss the document with you and are happy to take calls to their direct line 01372 732391. The Planning Department is considering an Open Evening for residents as well. We will keep you posted.
The document includes policies that cover a diverse range of topics such as managing new development in the Green Belt, mitigating the adverse impacts of climate change, achieving good design in new developments, building heights, heritage assets and managing new retail and employment uses.
In view of recent criticisms of building design in and around Epsom, residents and local organisations are urged to look at this document and submit their comments.
To view the document and submit comments either follow this link or else the one on the council's home page at epsom-ewell.gov.uk.
Paper copies are available in the Town Hall and in Libraries.
