Delays expected at Malden Rushett in February

Transport for London (TfL) have announced that on Monday 9th February 2009 they intend to start modernising the traffic light equipment at the intersection of Leatherhead Road with Rushett Lane and Fairoak Lane.
The work is programmed to take four weeks. Working times are between 9:30 and 22:30. Delays to traffic are expected. TfL have apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused - and promised that they will endeavour to minimise disruption as much as possible.
It is not known whether or not this work is connected with the intended future upgrade of this junction, see related link.
