Epsom Station

5 Dec 2009

There was a good turn-out at the Public Meeting on Monday 30th November organised by Epsom's Lib Dems. Local residents were given an opportunity to exchange views on the redevelopment proposals for Epsom Station. The planning application still hasn't been registered by Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, who are understood to be calling for clearer drawings to be supplied.

The meeting was chaired by Tim Murphy. Most of the meeting was an open forum with comments and questions being put by local residents. Some of the queries raised were about process and procedures relating to planning applications. The meeting was invited to have questions fielded direct to the developers. These have subsequently been sent off and replies should be available soon after 13 December.
