You are invited to join our fledgling social media sites - it's a great way to keep in touch with what's going on at the moment.

Facebook public group COLLEGE WARD FOCUS has lots of info on environmental issues and doesn't just relate to College ward, although the administrators are your College ward Focus team which includes your Borough Councillors.

College ward's @wardfocus on Twitter is not quite as active as the moment, but the more "followers" we have, the more active it will become.

These new sites join @EpsomEwellFocus on Twitter and Epsom Lib Dems on Facebook.

We have submitted two Motions to council which will be debated on 23rd July, click here to read the text on the council's website.

The first Motion is on climate change.

Our second Motion is a proposal NOT to use schools as polling stations, if they have to close for the day. This affects Wallace Fields, Southfield Park and other schools.

A Question we submitted will also get an answer on 23rd July. This asks for an estimate of how many households use their brown bin for green waste, because they inherited it, but don't actually pay for the service of having it emptied. Income and savings are really important at the moment for all local authorities. Epsom & Ewell has to save £2m in the next four years.
