Margaret Derrett is Lib Dem Candidate for Ruxley By-election

The Lib Dem candidate for the by-election to be held in Ruxley ward on 26th February, is Margaret Derrett, who has lived in the borough for 22 years.

Margaret's late husband Bill was county councillor for Epsom & Ewell West division, which includes Ruxley ward, from 1989-1997. Margaret is a retired teacher by profession, English being her subject.

"I will keep in touch" is the election promise from Margaret and her message to Ruxley residents is "I know the job of a councillor is to listen to local people and to keep in touch and tell them what I'm doing on their behalf."
