Proposed UHS Supermarket - 1
Revised proposals include reduced height and using traditional materials.

The developers have today unveiled their latest proposals for redeveloping 40-58 Upper High Street as a new supermarket. A meeting was held in Epsom today by the Business Partnership Forum, for the team from Helical Bar to update the business community about their latest plans.

This follows on from many months when Council planning officers have been in discussion with the developers and their agents. Besides reducing the height of the building to four storeys, the new proposals include using more traditional materials to fit in with existing buildings.

It is not yet known when the renewed application will be considered by the Planning Committee, but the chairman has announced that the earliest possible date will be 6th April 2006.
