Surrey County Council is keen to accept bids for Youth Small Grants. Funding is available for small, voluntary organisations to enable direct work with young people.

Applications should be for grants of between £500 and £1000 but a limited number of applications for funding up to £5000 will be accepted. The application must be for a voluntary organisation with a turnover of less than £100,000 pa.

That organisation should not have existing contracts with Surrey County Council. The funds will enable direct work with Surrey young people aged 10-19 and must not be for large capital projects. The funds must contribute directly toward putting more young people in education, employment or training, or keeping more young people safe from crime and anti-social behaviour. It can also relate to youth work delivered locally.
