Trophy for Jason

Tennis for Free Coach Receives Award

Local resident Jason Barnett has received an Award as Most Supportive Team Manager at the Surrey Youth Games held earlier this year. Unfortunately, the trophy donated by the Rotary Club of Epsom was not available until recently, so the official presentation was delayed until September 4th.

Council Hopefuls - It's Time to Apply

All Liberal Democrats hoping to stand as Candidates in next year's elections to Epsom & Ewell Borough Council should apply to the local party by 16th October. "There is still time for new names to be added to our list of Approved Candidates, ahead of our local party's AGM on 9th November", says campaign manager Cllr Julie Morris. "However we do need to allow time for our approval and selection procedures".

Lib Dems say protect Surrey’s Green Belt

The Liberal Democrats are calling on Surrey County Council to protect the County's Green Belt. In a motion to the County Council next Tuesday, 19 March, Liberal Democrat Councillor Ian Beardsmore will call on the Council to do everything in its power to protect Green Belt land and to ensure that any Green Belt development in the County is in line with the needs and wishes of Surrey residents.
