Epsom residents have been hoping for many years that the Malden Rushett road junction will be improved. For many of them it is on their most direct route to the A3 or the M25 and thence to the rest of the country.

I've just been accused of issuing the dullest tweet of the week. The Dorking Tip is now under real threat of closure by the County Council, with a decision to be made by its Cabinet on 29 January 2019. The recommendation to the Cabinet, following the consultation, is for the Tip to close.
