WHERE IS OUR NEW HOSPITAL?

When will the government stop prevaricating and hand over the promised £500m needed to build our new emergency care hospital at Sutton and modernise Epsom & St Helier Hospitals? It’s more than three years since the Independent Review Panel recommended that the emergency care hospital should be built at Sutton, and numerous promises have since been made by Government in favour of the plan – yet not even planning permission has been sought for the Sutton site. As a result, the work needed to modernise the two existing hospitals at Epsom and St Helier is held up by this lack of government action.

By signing this petition, you are pledging your support for the UK government to get on and deliver its promise to build our new hospital and modernise the facilities at both district general hospitals - St Helier and Epsom.

Where’s our promised £500m spending on hospital provision?

Lib Dem campaigner Helen Maguire wants to fix the years of delay in resolving the chronic overcrowding of Epsom and St Helier Hospitals starting with the £500m the Conservatives promised three years ago, but have failed to deliver. By signing this petition, you are pledging your support in seeking a response from Government over the missing millions for our local healthcare service.
