The results of Epsom & St Helier's NHS Trust's recent consultation were published on 10 November. More than 25,000 people joined in discussions on the long term future of the Trust's healthcare services.

News that Lidl's application for a new medium-sized foodstore in Upper High Street has been approved, brings towards an end a 15 year saga.The first of a long series of unsatisactory plans for a supermarket on the former Allams and Iceland sites in Upper High Street was put forward in 2002 and rejected in 2003.

Paul Kennedy, Liberal Democrat candidate for Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner, has challenged the Conservative candidate's claims that her links with Conservative Ministers will somehow deliver more police funding for Surrey. Experience shows that Ministers just take Surrey Conservatives for granted, preferring to channel extra funding to "red wall" seats in the North.
